Indications
For the treatment of bacterial enteritis in calves, sheep and goats.
Administration & Dosage
For oral administration to calves, sheep and goats.
Give an initial loading dose of one 3.25 g tablet per
35 kg bodyweight, then a maintenance dose of half a 3.25 g tablet per 35 kg bodyweight at 12 hourly intervals.
Treatment for 2 – 3 days is normally sufficient but in some cases (e.g. secondary infections) it may be necessary to extend the period. Do not continue treatment for longer than 7 days.
Fluid replacement therapy should be given if dehydration is present.
Ensure adequate drinking water is available to animals during treatment.
Withholding Times
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the
New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards
Milk
|
Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for 35 days following the last treatment.

Meat
|
Animals Producing Meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 21 days of the last treatment.
|
Cats and Dogs
|
5mg/kg (0.1ml) per i/m or s/c every 12 hours on the first day, thereafter once daily.
|
Do not use in animals with impaired renal function.
Presentation
12 x 3.25 g tablets.
Storage
Store at room temperature (25°C). Protect from light.
