Canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine coronavirus (CCV) infections are highly contagious viral diseases that cause gastrointestinal illness in dogs. They also cause similar symptoms, including vomiting, anorexia, fever, depression, diarrhea, and watery diarrhea containing mucus and blood. When infection occurs concurrently, the mortality rate may be as high as 90%.
